Lae’zel comes from a warrior society and has no patience for actions or attitudes that she sees as being weak or cowardly. The mind flayers are the mortal enemy of the Gith, and the fact that she has been inflected by a tadpole fills her with disgust. The fact that mind flayer reproduce by infecting a host with a tadpole is not lost on Lae’zel, and her greatest fear is becoming that which she is word to destroy.

All that being said though it is possible to romance Lae’zel.
